“I can never read all the books I want; I can never be all the people I want and live all the lives I want. I can never train myself in all the skills I want. And why do I want? I want to live and feel all the shades, tones and variations of mental and physical experience possible in life. And I am horribly limited.” --Sylvia Plath

Monday's Musical Photographical Lazy Post

Back to grading papers again today, so I just have time for a couple things. First, my little girl Evelyn Jane is 17 months today. I relish in the fact that I get to put "months" and not "years" after that big number!

Second, here is a fun song that always puts me in a groovin' mood Yes, groovin', (not grooving).

  1. That's a Minnesota-worthy ensemble! I remember, 13 years ago now, traveling to Siberia to bring home my daughter... brought along a snow suit whose size we estimated from a photo of Ana held by a nurse. Turns out the nurse was barely 4' 6" tall... so the snow suit was huge!
