“I can never read all the books I want; I can never be all the people I want and live all the lives I want. I can never train myself in all the skills I want. And why do I want? I want to live and feel all the shades, tones and variations of mental and physical experience possible in life. And I am horribly limited.” --Sylvia Plath

"The Photographer's Workout"

I just came across a humorous article entitled "The Photographer's Workout," in which the author describes the different workouts photographers can do during photo shoots, and I have to laugh because it's true! Last weekend when I did a family photo shoot with two young boys, I did "the crab walk" A LOT. On the beach. In 90-degree humidity. And my legs were sore for two days. Like, legitimately sore, where it hurt to move. But that's a good thing, because I have zero time (and desire) to "work-out."
